Camo Dipping.Camouflage Made Easy.
What Is Camo Dipping?
Camo dipping, or Hydro Dipping refers to the process of printing camouflage patterns onto 3D objects using a special vinyl ink process, and water.
This process allows you to “print” camouflage on just almost anything you want.
Examples of Objects You Can Camo Dip:
- Motorcycle Parts (Gas Tank/Fairing)
- Sporting Equipment (Guns/Cross Bows/Rifles)
- Metal (Knifes/Panels)
- Auto, Truck, RV Parts (Rims/Fenders/Parts)
- Furniture (Tree Stands, Chairs)
Note: If you can paint it, you can most likely camo dip it!
How Does Camo Dipping Work?
Camo dipping is a printing technique that starts with laying a poly vinyl film with a camouflage pattern on it into water.
Once the vinyl film camouflage is floating, a chemical activator is then sprayed over the surface area of the water.
This chemical activator makes the camouflage pattern from the vinyl film become floating ink.
After your pattern is floating ink, your object is then slowing dipped into the water, therefore transferring the vinyl camo design onto your object.
Finally, your object is protected with a very durable clear coat finish.
Note: The Clear Coat Is About As Durable As Clear Coating Used In The Automotive Industry. (Matte, Glossy, Satin Finish)
What Is Camo Dipping Used For?
The hydro dipping is a versatile process that is used actively by outdoorsmen.
The unique process allows you to print a camouflage pattern onto most 3D objects.
Making it perfect for tree stands, weapons, or hunting equipment that is usually not camo.
Hydro Dipping is also great if you just want to turn something camouflage!
